Prehistoric dildos, hand cranked vibrators, anti-masturbation devices, rag sex dolls – the list of sex objects is endless as human beings have been creating sexual objects in their daily lives since the beginning of time, and thus the basis of my erotic antiquities collecting hobby for the good part of 40 years now.
Over time the shelves grew and the room filled with delicate and rare erotic treasures, long forgotten oddities, and brilliant human ingenuity. The shelves were overflowing with a cornucopia of sexual antiquities, best described as an eclectic erotic curiosity shop that was never open to the public. While aesthetically beautiful to look at everything in one space – it became obvious that it was not working on so many other levels. Then came the realization - so many items, each trying to shine and tell its own story.
So, we went the opposite direction and created a modern space that we are proud to say is a focused exhibit that allows each artifact to share its own story and history in a bright elevated context.
