Now that the Erotic Curiosa Museum has a website, we are eager to share our extraordinary trip to the Big Apple. Firstly, we are so grateful that we were invited to participate in the first EROTIC ART FAIR in NYC history. This event was carefully and craftily created by the extraordinarily talented erotic art collector and founder of Please Knock Studios Danna Wexler of pleaseknockstudios.com and Iconic queen Tattoo artist Sue Jeiven. I am beyond words to say how much I love these two rock stars as they are not only beautiful people but they are amazing at what they do everyday. They made us feel so welcome and allowed us to show our hearts and our dreams. Speaking of dreams – This whole event was like the best dream come true!

    On Oct 15th, The Erotic art Fair was held at TV EYE venue in Brooklyn. I believe there were over 30 vendors from around the USA and a couple from Canada. With close to 4000 patrons coming through – we were busy, I will say! The space had two large rooms with artists and vendors selling everything from jewelry to erotic blankets and gorgeous sexy pottery. One could purchase vintage 8mm porn films to 90’s hardcore VHS tapes, thousands of smut magazines and dirty lil books. Postcards, graphics, sexy t-shirts, and vintage novelties!! The walls were covered in amazing erotic art!!! And everyone loved it! Straight sex, Gay sex, non-binary and transgender – it didn’t matter as everyone was welcome and loved. I can say with full heart what an amazing time meeting so many interesting people from all walks of life.

    Honestly, I was just so happy to share my collection with people and educate on some of the crazy and historical items from my collection. A very big thank you to Danna and Sweet Sue! Now, if only Vancouver could pull something as awesome as that event was!
